چکیده
Radish is a root vegetable crop, and many F1 cultivars have been developed by exploiting heterosis. Considerable time resources are required to test the performance combining ability of parental lines; therefore, economical methods identify them needed before field tests. This study was conducted determine minimum number markers elite lines. PCR-based were applied radish lines selected based on chromosomal location, polymorphic information content, allele frequency. The power marker sets detect genetically similar or confirmed using with high genetic similarity same parents. Eleven successfully identified not only all 105 tested but also reported in previous studies. Fourteen markers, including nine among 11 for cultivar identification, distinguished 115 tested, ones parents separated at F2–F6 generations. identification require 14 respectively, simple PCR gel electrophoresis instruments. method very can be easily other crops.

Glucosinolate accumulation in three important radish (Raphanus sativus) cultivars
Radish, Raphanus sativus, is an important dietary vegetable in Asian countries, especially in China, Japan, and Korea. In this study, the variation of glucosinolate (GSL) contents among three radish cultivars, including Seo Ho, Man Tang Hong, and Hong Feng No. 1 were evaluated. While significantly different levels of 13 GSLs were observed in both the skin and flesh of these radish cultivars, th...
متن کاملRadish (Raphanus sativus) and Diabetes
For more than three decades, various in vitro and in vivo studies have linked radishes with diabetes, though this link has not been discussed. This review systematically addresses and summarizes the effect of radishes on diabetes. We searched the Web of Science, PubMed, and EMBASE databases for English language articles from June 1987 through May 2017 using the key words "radish" and "diabetes,...
متن کاملDraft Sequences of the Radish (Raphanus sativus L.) Genome
Radish (Raphanus sativus L., n = 9) is one of the major vegetables in Asia. Since the genomes of Brassica and related species including radish underwent genome rearrangement, it is quite difficult to perform functional analysis based on the reported genomic sequence of Brassica rapa. Therefore, we performed genome sequencing of radish. Short reads of genomic sequences of 191.1 Gb were obtained ...
متن کاملAn a-L-arabinofuranosidase/b-D-xylosidase from immature seeds of radish (Raphanus sativus L.)
The carbohydrate moieties of arabinogalactan proteins (AGPs) are essential for their physiological functions and undergo rapid turnover in vivo. Degradation of the carbohydrate moieties of AGPs seems to occur by concerted action of several glycosidases, among them a-L-arabinofuranosidase, b-Dgalactosidase, and b-D-glucuronidase. Here, a bifunctional a-L-arabinofuranosidase/b-D-xylosidase from i...

A total of 13 anthocyanins and 33 metabolites; including organic acids, phenolic acids, amino acids, organic compounds, sugar acids, sugar alcohols, and sugars, were profiled in three radish cultivars by using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and gas chromatography time-of-flight mass spectrometry (GC-TOFMS)-based metabolite profiling. Total phenolics and flavonoids and their in vi...
